We opened “MONO FACTORY” under the concept『It’s kind of adult and quality time ceramic experience』The venue of this experience is at the ceramic artist’s private studio in Izu-Kogen area near Mt.Omuro and Jogasaki Coast. Here Izu-Kogen is part of the Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park. A beautiful gateway to the rest of nature. Why don’t you come this area and experience making pottery with electric wheel at MONO FACTORY? You can spend a relaxing time in a hideaway ambience not found in a large studio. We begun to accept foreign travelers since 2019. Languages are available in Japanese and English. I am not fluent English speaker yet, but I will try my best to make you have fun. We value the time of every person. If you are children or beginner, we would love to help you create great memories of the trip and make ceramic bowls. The work you make is free, whether it's a container or a figurine ♪ It's also good to present yourself with a bowl full of memories made in Japan, and I think it would be nice to make a bowl for your friends and family. It is a ceramics experience of peace of mind even if it is the first time because it is a lesson form advanced while explaining little by little even for the beginner. *We leave the wearing mask up to you !No need to wear a mask.

Why don't you go to other places as well as pottery?
The Jogasaki Coast is a craggy coastline. It can be followed along about 10 kilometer long hiking trail offering beautiful views of the jagged cliffs and stone formations that hug the coast with a lighthouse and a 48 meter long suspension bridge in the middle, although it is also possible to walk much shorter portions of the trail.
Mt. Omuro is an extinct volcano covered in grass. Standing at 580 meters with a diameter of 300 meters, you have to take a chair lift up in order to enjoy panoramic views of the surroundings. The view is awesome ! !Mount Fuji ,the Izu Islands, the gulf of Sagami and the gulf of Suruga can be seen when visibility is good. You should go there !
